Role

Senior Product Designer

Designed a self-serve company onboarding system for GoodTime to replace a manual, high-touch onboarding process. By enabling customers to independently configure complex setup tasks, the product reduced reliance on customer success teams and improved overall onboarding efficiency and scalability.

Challenges

The onboarding process was complex, manual, and heavily dependent on continuous support from customer success and engineering teams. Customers struggled with unclear configurations, cross-team dependencies, and lack of understanding of setup steps, leading to delays and inefficiencies. The challenge was to simplify a highly fragmented workflow into a scalable, self-serve experience.

Solutions

I designed an interactive onboarding experience that guided users through setup with clear structure, contextual instructions, and progress tracking. Key features included request workflows for cross-team collaboration, pre-built templates, and a redesigned settings architecture. This allowed users to complete onboarding independently while reducing friction and confusion.

Impact

Reduced onboarding dependency on manual support and improved efficiency for both customers and internal teams.
